For five long years, Tom worked as a shop assistant in a big, busy supermarket. His life followed the same routine every day. He arrived at work, put on his uniform, and started his tasks. He spent many hours putting food on the shelves. He also worked at the noisy checkout, scanning items for hundreds of customers. The job was very boring, and he did not enjoy being inside the building all day with no fresh air. At the end of each day, he felt very tired and uninspired. Tom always loved nature; he dreamed of a job working outdoors with plants and flowers.

One evening, after a long day at work, he saw an advert online. The city park needed a new park gardener. He felt excited and a little bit nervous, but he decided to apply for the job. The park manager interviewed him the next week. Tom talked about his love for gardening. A few days later, the manager called and offered him the position. Tom was very happy and accepted immediately.

His new life as a gardener has been wonderful. He started his new job last spring. Every morning, he wakes up early and walks to the beautiful city park. In the spring and summer, he spends his days planting colorful flowers and cutting the green grass. In the autumn, he clears the leaves from the paths. The work can be physically hard, and he doesn't make a lot of money. Sometimes, the weather is bad, and he has to work in the rain. But Tom has never been happier. He has learned so much about nature. 'This is the best job in the world,' Tom says. 'I get great job satisfaction from making the park a beautiful place for families to visit.' He feels proud when people stop to tell him how lovely the gardens look.
